I was reading the Text Link Ads blog here and lo and behold they’ve got a post with all the juicy details (ok, well maybe not everything we’d like to know, like how much!) about their recent purchase of AuctionAds.  I really just started testing AuctionAds myself as a result of all the buzz I’ve been hearing about them.

Truthfully I haven’t seen much in the way of performance on my own blogs yet but there are some out there who swear by it. One person who is seeing some performance on AuctionAds mentioned that if you find a way to market the ads to a lot of Ebay regular buyers then the 30 day cookie will work wonders for you even if they don’t purchase the products that are featured in the ads themselves. Something to consider.

Anyway, this could be good news for AuctionAds users in the long run. I still half expect Ebay to swoop down and purchase them both anyway - you heard it here first if that happens!

For more details, and a picture of people shaking hands, if you’re into that kind of thing, here is the link to the TLA blogsite.
